Welcome to Simply Vintage! I am Krystal Nolan, the North Georgia based owner, photographer, and light chaser behind the lens. I have been capturing life's little moments since I received my first camera at 6-years-old, and for more than 17 years have had the privilege of photographing families and businesses throughout Georgia and across the country. I believe that EVERY MOMENT MATTERS and that capturing authentic, genuine, and real-life connection is more important than staging for perfection. I want your time in front of my lens to be full of memories that you will cherish. I love the storytelling aspect of photography and how one snapshot captured at a moment in time can instantly transport us back to a perfect memory, and I strive to provide those moments during our time together.
When I’m not photographing families, I love being able to coach and mentor other photographers towards success. I offer photography business mentorships throughout the southeast and host photographer meetups and styled shoots several times a year. I love spending time with my husband, son, and the three most adorably spoiled rotten dogs in the world. I love all things antique, vintage, and crafty. You will find me covered in glitter or paint at least 50% of the time.

I prefer to let sessions unfold in a natural way that helps everyone open up and enjoy the time. My goal is to capture your family as they are today, and we all know that normal life isn't perfect! I'm not a “Smile and Say Cheese” kind of gal, but I promise we will capture the love your family has for each other and the moments of pure childhood joy. I will provide plenty of prompts and will guide posing to ensure your session runs smoothly. Relax. Breathe. Have a great time together, and I promise you will love the outcome! WE ARE GOING TO HAVE SO MUCH FUN!

All bookings are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE. If you find out in advance of your session that you will not be able to attend, please contact me to determine if another session time is available. Sessions cancelled less than 7 days in advance will not be refunded or rescheduled.

In general, my philosophy is to let kids be kids. We will laugh and play and have a great time capturing your family's love. It will be OKAY! I do NOT offer a complimentary reshoot or reschedule for sessions where families have uncooperative members.

Your edited images will be available for viewing via a private online gallery. You will be able to download your selected images directly from that site, and a variety of print products are also available.
